I am an IT professional who has been working on computer networks for more than 10 years and who has a lot of experiences in the area. Currently, I would like to focus on Security and Network automation more.
My personal goal for this year is to gain more knowledge and experience in network security and cloud computing. From certifications this year I will get at least CCNP SISE 350-715 certification.
Experiences
Network Engineer dedicated for one of our most important customers, where I am responsible for the design, implementation, management, and support of network infrastructure across customer sites throughout the Czech Republic. My role includes both day-to-day network operations and active participation in strategic infrastructure development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting and resolving operational incidents, and implementing change requests in accordance with ITIL processes
- Managing and configuring Cisco network devices – routers, switches, ASA/FTD firewalls, wireless controllers, Cisco ISE, and SD-WAN
- Monitoring, diagnosing, and optimizing network traffic with a focus on performance and stability
- Collaborating on the design and deployment of new network solutions and architecture
- Actively participating in key infrastructure projects including migrations, network expansions, and security initiatives
- Creating and maintaining up-to-date technical documentation and operational procedures
- Ensuring high availability, security, and compliance with corporate security policies
- Working with monitoring and management tools such as Cisco ISE, Qualys, and Zabbix

The first half of my role involves supporting and resolving issues for several other key customers — including banks, government institutions, hospitals, and international enterprises with global branches. Key responsibilities in this part of the role include:
- Managing Cisco Routing & Switching, Nexus, ASA, ISE, and Wi-Fi solutions
- Resolving incidents and implementing changes on Cisco devices (on-site and via remote access)
- Installing network hardware and software at customer locations
- Collaborating on the implementation of new network projects
Since the end of 2019, I have been working as a Dedicated Specialist for one of our major customers. In this role, I provide ongoing support to the customer’s IT departments across the Czech Republic. My responsibilities include active involvement in various projects (such as implementing 802.1X), incident troubleshooting, handling service requests, and configuring and maintaining network infrastructure.
